Opt for authenticator apps as they offer the highest security to manage account access and prevent potential unauthorized logins.
What is Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?
To enhance security, we mandate two-factor authentication (2FA) for logging into your account, and it might also be necessary for other sensitive actions.
Two-factor authentication (2FA) is a technique for accessing online accounts or computer systems that demands two distinct forms of information.
Enabling 2FA is a vital approach to heighten security while using your account on Niural. It provides an additional layer of defense, ensuring exclusive access to your data and transactions.
Setting up a 2FA on your Niural Account
- Navigate to the Account section from the top-right corner of your profile.
- Click on the toggle under Account Security to enable 2FA.
- Activate 2FA by scanning the QR code to link the authenticator app on your phone with your Niural account.
In case you don't have an authenticator app on your smartphone yet, you can obtain one from the App Store or Google Play. Examples of such apps are Google Authenticator, Authy, or Microsoft Authenticator.
- Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app, and then click Save.
